  2. However, I love them all. I had this LP over forty years ago and think it is definitely one of her best and I played it constantly then. I would recommend it to anyone over 45 but it would also appeal to many younger ones who just love good music and vocals which one can understand. Of course, it is a must for every Shirley Bassey fan/5(32).

  8. Bassey's third album is a pleasing if momentarily uneven collection of 13 songs, accompanied by Geoff Love and his orchestra with the Rita Williams Singers. Once one gets past the most questionable track here (the opener, no less), a version of "Love Is a Many Splendored Thing" that Bassey belts out to a too-loud accompaniment, everything is a winner.
  9. "One Way Ticket" is a song co-written by American composer Stephen J. Lawrence, which became Helen Reddy's first single. The lyrics were written by Bruce was introduced by Gloria Loring on her MGM Records album, Today, produced by Bob Morgan. Loring's original rendition was not, however, released as a single.
